Because I always love doing these while waiting to hear back on an app.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
5'10, with a thin, somewhat delicate looking build. He's naturally thin but not to the point of looking unhealthy.
2. How old is he?
20
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He carries himself with a laid-back, confident manner. He doesn't keep his back perfectly straight, but he tends to look straight ahead while walking (unless talking with someone else) and his shoulders down.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's not particularly athletic. When he was younger he suffered from frequent headaches--that's mostly cleared up now, but he still has occasional bad migraines that he has to lay down for.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Confidently and fluid.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Ever since he got past his awkward phase in high school he's been perceived as very attractive. He's well aware of how handsome he is, and while a lot of it is natural he actually puts a lot of effort into his appearance and he can be a little vain. In particular he takes a lot of pride in taking good care of his hair and styling it nicely.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Fair, with clear skin.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
His hair is naturally black and a little thin. For a few years now he's been bleaching his hair to a dirty blond.
9. What color are his eyes?
Golden brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He has callouses on his fingers from frequent guitar playing.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Does anyone ever say anything for this other than "head"? I still don't know if I really understand this question.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Casual, but trendy. He prefers light, bright colors, even in winter. In particular he has a lot of white and purple.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Oh yeah, he won't buy anything if it doesn't fit him well, much less wear it. He's the sort of person that seems very comfortable in his clothing and almost as if he just threw on whatever and it looks great, but he actually puts waaaaay more thought into his outfits every day than he pretends to.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He's a full time student and doesn't currently have any job outside of that, so no.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer briefs.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Smooth as silk and gentle, but a sarcastic edge tends to creep into it, particularly if he's not taking something seriously. He's got a pretty good radio voice.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Very evenly. He doesn't hesitate much and usually seems to have a pretty good idea of what he wants to say. At times he can get a bit too flowery, though. Why call something green when you can call it emerald?
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
There's nothing too quirky about his speech in English, it's fairly unaccented. He does have a tendency to lower his voice a little when flirting. And his Japanese is accented some--he's understandable but it's obvious he doesn't get much of a chance to speak it with anyone else other than his Mom, so sometimes his Japanese can sound a bit...American. Oh, and he uses "boku" as his personal pronoun.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English and Japanese. He grew up speaking both so he's fluent in both of them, although as mentioned above his Japanese isn't quite as good as his English and it's a little accented. But he can certainly carry a conversation just fine. He also doesn't know as much kanji as he'd like, although he knows enough to get by.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He usually speaks Japanese to his mom. Sometimes he'll also switch to Japanese to "seduce" girls as a joke (often saying stuff that's totally random), but he's actually been a little weirded out the few times girls have requested that he speak Japanese to them when they don't know any.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's pretty good, although when something REALLY matters to him that overly-flowery language can come back.forever being imprisoned in the darkness of solitude
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Usually very eloquent, unless something has REALLY upset him. Then he can get a little short and blunt.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Slightly above average. He gets really good grades, but that's partially because he's actually a really hard worker, more than you'd expect. Street-smarts he's just sort of average with, although he's somewhat good at talking himself out of bad situations.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He mulls things over for FOREVER. Being forced to make a quick decision tends to trip him up a little. His impulses aren't always something to be trusted.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
He thinks a lot about hypothetical and ideals, although he doesn't completely have his head in the clouds. He's aware of the negative things about the world, he just has a hope that things could be better. He also thinks about his feelings a lot, although he rarely expresses this out loud.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
He grew up going to private schoolssubject to change if I work out something different with someone I know who might pick up a canon-mate, and is currently attending Locke City University as a psychology major, and minoring in music.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He has a natural talent for pretty much everything involving music. He also has an interest in psychology, of course, although this comes less naturally to him and he finds it more challenging. In general he also wants to learn about and understand the people around him.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extroverted! He does enjoy occasional time alone, but he's happiest and in his most natural element when he's spending time with others.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He can be pretty moody, although as he's gotten older he's gotten better at keeping this somewhat in check. He's naturally a pretty cheerful person (although he wasn't always so) and comes across as laid-back, but he actually works pretty hard on his school work and hobbies. He tries to see the world in a glass-half-full sort of way (while not pretending that the glass isn't as full as it could be, if that makes sense).
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
To new people, really enthusiastically! He's one of those people that loves to have tons of friends. New situations he approaches a bit more cautiously, but he's a "try-anything-once" sort of guy.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
No, none that he knows of.

He'd love to make a living as a musician but doesn't think it's very likely, so instead he'd like to help people by being a counselor.

Currently I can't think of anything, but once he starts to receive memories of what he did i his past life he's going to be veeeery hesitant to share them.

Sasame's never known his father and his mother never talks about him. When he was younger it bothered him, but these days he's pretty apathetic about it now--why waste energy being upset over someone that might not even know you exist?
On the other hand, he's pretty close to his mother. At times he feels like she puts a little too much pressure on him, but he knows she means well. She's supportive of him, but also wants him to get a steady job. (He doesn't have to be rich, just not in danger of being unemployed and penniless.) 8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family, for sure. His mother means the world to him.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single, never married. He's had plenty of girlfriends in the past, though.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nnnnope, he's between girlfriends.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Honestly he doesn't really know, which is part of his issue. He particularly likes pretty girls that he feels like he can talk to about school work and his interest in psychology or music without them glazing over, and he seems to have a thing for shy girls (but not always), as well as girls that are particularly affectionate. But he tends to be a little haphazard about the sorts of girls he dates.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
A lot of his turn-ons have to do with soundlol guess why. Dirty talk, hearing the girl he's with vocalize pleasure, stuff like that. He also really likes being dominated and is something of a masochist.
He's really bothered by girls that are pushy after he's told them he doesn't want to do something, turned off by a lack of hygiene, and once dumped a girl after she told him that music was unimportant. 1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Sasame was born December 20th, 1992, which I thiiink makes him a Sagittarius. (I say "think" because I'm not really into astrology so I'm having to Google, and it looks like he's really straddling the line with his birthdate.) A site I googled said "The strong psychic and emotional nature of a December 20 Sagittarius belies an outwardly breezy attitude. Their personality is like a chameleon that offers something different to everyone. Attracted to tradition and the status quo, they retain strong ties to their past. They may struggle to break free of the image others have of them." That actually fits Sasame, and in particular his reincarnation, so well that it's actually sort of hilarious.

It's not particularly important in his life and he honestly doesn't think about it much.
(Of course, in his past life Sasame was a pretty spiritual person, at one point sort of praying to leafe and in general being pretty fatalistic, so this will likely change as he continues to get echoes.)
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
